What's in a Mole

1) DWU #2
A)  Knowing that 6.02 X10^23 molecules = 1 mole a)  How many molecules are in 0.500 mole?  b) How many mole is 4.52 X10^23?
B)  Knowing the molar mass for carbon is 12.01 g/mol a) if your sample has a mass of 24.02 g, how many mole do you have?  b)  What is the mass of a 0.25 mole sample?

I checked the homework and went over it before I gave the homework quiz.  Most of the period was spent collecting the information for the What's in a Mole activity.

HW:  Read 6.5-6.8; What's in a Mole; Closed toe shoes
