I collected the Observation Lab, stamped and went over homework, and gave the second homework quiz on Significant Figures. We continued discussing the rules for sig figs, including the rules for multiplying and dividing and converting units. I gave about 15 minutes for students to continue working on the back side of the blue Sig Figs worksheet. After that, we discussed measurement and the difference between accuracy and precision.
Homework is to finish the blue sig figs worksheet and the front side of the tan Metric Review worksheet.
