Welcome back! I hope you had a restful summer and are ready for a great school year. My blog is a place where you will find information pertinent to our class. I post each day's activities here, in narrative form, as well as the homework and links to hand-outs, websites, etc. Let's get started!
We got our textbooks today. You do not need to bring your book to class each day. There is a class set in my classroom, and the library also has a few that can be checked out. I also passed out the safety contract, which MUST be signed by both you and your parent before you will be permitted to participate in lab activities. We did the Ghost Crystal observation lab and began the Making Observations lab. We will finish the remainder of the Making Observations lab on Wednesday, and it is due on Friday.
One other important thing that was done in class was to "Register" for the class with your contact information. If you have not done so, please click here to complete the form.
HW: Get materials by Friday; sign safety contract; read Problem Solving Strategies and complete #2 & 3 on a SEPARATE PAPER; wear closed toe shoes on Wednesday!
